Happy to see fellows celebrating the victory of Chandrayan- 3 through different platforms. Obviously, it is a moment to cherish not only on the landing but also on the morale the nation possess. The former Lunar mission Chandrayan -2 could only succeed partially due to the crash landing of Lander Vikram on the Moon's surface. The limitations in software to detect errors, inadequacy in the thrust production and small landing site were the major reasons behind the collapse as identified by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). ISRO this time has followed a failure-based design unlike its earlier mission. Critical innovations and changes were brought by the team to ensure success. Landing tests in different terrains, increasing original landing space (even though a precise location is predetermined), and improving the capacities of the lander are some of them.
